Alla SergievskayaAlla Sergievskaya is a leading scientist at the Institute of Mechanics, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia. She is a Dr.Sci.Tech. (1998) and the theme of her doctoral dissertation is "Information and mathematical modelling in natural science research". Her main fields of research are information modeling of physical processes, mathematical modeling of non-equilibrium phenomena in gases and plasma, computer experiments. Alla was Senior Member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. She has written a number of books and papers about her research methods and concepts. She is married with 2 children. Alla is the Russian representative of two UK Charities including Oxford Russia Fund and the Hill Foundation. |
